BACnet Interface
BACnet is a data communication protocol for Building Automation and Control Networks. Most digital controllers use proprietary software, so equipment from different manufacturers cannot communicate unless custom software and hardware are used.
BACnet was developed to standardize communication between DDC systems from different manufacturers. It is now the standard protocol for ASHRAE, ANSI and ISO.
Our suppliers, Reliable Controls and KMC Controls, offer full lines of BACnet products.
The Reliable Controls® MACH-System™ enables you to:
- Build 'native' BACnet® systems exclusively with Reliable Controls® BACnet® Controller products.
- Use the BACnet® protocol to interface with Original Equipment Manufacturers products.
- Add to another vendor's native BACnet® system using Reliable Controls® products.
- Mix legacy Reliable Controls® products and BACnet® protocol networks into one system.
- Configure a BACnet® controller for either BACnet® or Reliable Controls® protocol while in the field.
- Operate a Reliable Controls® 'native' BACnet® system with another vendor's BACnet® software.
