Victoria International Airport
Departures Phase
Kerr Controls Inc. installed the KMC Controls DDC system for the Departures phase of the Victoria International Airport Expansion Project and provides ongoing preventive maintenance for all DDC and HVAC equipment, sewer pump stations, and baggage conveyor systems.
- Airside Operations Centre
Construction of the new Airside Operations Centre at the Victoria airport was completed in the spring of 2010. The new facility houses administration offices, maintenance facilities, and a new fire hall.
Kerr Controls Inc. expanded the KMC Controls KMDigital system to control the new ground source heat pump, in floor heating and demand ventilation systems. Kerr Controls provides ongoing service and support.
- Sewage Lift Station Controls
This sewage lift station in North Saanich, BC is monitored by a KMDigital system by KMC Controls which was installed in March 2010 by Kerr Controls Inc
The system monitors the lift station and provides internal alarms for early failure detection
Gordon Head Recreation Centre
This recreational facility in Saanich, BC offers a variety of scheduled and drop-in programs for children, youth and adults including swim lessons, strength training, aerobics and water-fit programs.
Renovations were done in 2009 to provide new change room facilities, add a fitness studio, multi-purpose room and preschool space. Changes were also made to enhance accessibility and upgrade several other areas of the facility.
Kerr Controls Inc. performed a complete retrofit of the building automation system, upgrading the facility to the latest Reliable Controls product standard.
St. Ann’s Academy
- Building Management Retrofit
The former girls school and convent, St. Ann's Academy, is a National Historic site located in downtown Victoria.
The historical 76,000 square foot building was renovated and restored in 1995-1997. A portion of the building, now an Interpretive Centre, was restored to 1920’s appearance and the majority of the building was converted to modern office space.
In April 2010 Kerr Controls Inc. completed an energy management project which included upgrading the building automation system to the latest Reliable Controls standard.
